This means that WAEC withheld results 2024/2025 have not yet been released by the West African Examinations Council for some candidates who sat for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
When Will WAEC Withheld Result Be Out For 2024/2025?

WAEC withheld results for 2024 will be out on the 9th of October 2024.
The management of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced 9th October 2024 as the latest date for the release of the 2024 withheld results.
This means that all candidates whose results were withheld will be able to see their SSCE results from the 9th of October 2024.
For candidates with outstanding results, the release date is 9th October 2024.
This means that those who have outstanding papers or issues with their results will be able to see their results from this date.
On the other hand, candidates with cancelled results will have to wait until 12th October 2024 for their results to be released.
However, it is important to note that not all results will be released on this day.
How To Check WAEC With Held Result 2024
To check your WAEC withheld result for 2024, follow these simple steps:
- Visit the official website of WAEC, which is www.waecdirect.org.
- Enter your examination number in the required field.
- Select your examination year.
- Choose the examination type, which is usually “May/June” for candidates who wrote the examination in May/June and “Nov/Dec” for candidates who wrote the examination in November/December.
